Their close relationship continued to flourish after college when they became roommates. These days, their time is often spent chatting about their favorite sports, sharing family stories, debating anime, and reveling in the latest internet memes. Their shared experiences and mutual passions have only strengthened their bond, making this role as Best Man a perfect reflection of their lifelong friendship.
Morgan Williams - Maid of Honor
A short 13 months younger, the Bride chose her sister as her MOH. They've sailed many storms to arrive at the closeness that exists today. Now, they frequent eateries, concerts, family gatherings, game nights, kickbacks, and vacations as sisters AND the best of friends.

They also maintain an out-of-state friendship, but JaLisha's love for roadtrips creates frequent sleepover, dining, social outings and mixology opportunities for the two.

Nyle and Ron's friendship began back in 7th grade, when they navigated the bustling EL trains of Philadelphia together on their way to and from school. Throughout high school, this dynamic duo dove headfirst into their passions, immersing themselves in sports and music, creating countless unforgettable moments. Over the years, their friendship blossomed as they explored shared interests in real estate and continued to revel in their love for music. They’ve spent countless hours engaging in deep conversations about life, dreams, and everything in between.
Gabrielle Arrington - Bridesmaid
Gabrielle and Brittni met in 6th grade at Lindley Middle and have been the best of friends since. While their friendship has survived over a decade of long-distance, their dedication to self-growth and reflection keeps them close. Gabrielle is Britt's main source of spontaneous social events.
John William Roberson III - Groomsman
John and Ron first crossed paths at Oxford in 2005, and their friendship blossomed almost instantly. By 2007, their bond was further solidified when they both became members of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc., a union that deepened their connection and commitment to each other. After college, their adventures continued with Ron visiting California and John exploring Philadelphia, maintaining their close friendship despite the distance. Over the years, their conversations have ranged from their mutual love for anime to engaging discussions about pressing social issues, reflecting the depth and versatility of their relationship.
Odessa Seivright - Bridesmaid
Dess and Britt met at the Emory Autism Center in 2013. First coworkers, they quickly realized their commonalities and became friends. If your line crossed into one of their calls, you're likely to hear reflections about the ups and downs of poise and grace amid choas. Together they enjoy music festivals, kickbacks, and margaritas.

Dr. Lisa and Ron’s friendship dates back to middle school, and they have been tight ever since, forming a part of a remarkable lifelong group known as 'The Family.' This tight-knit circle, comprised of gifted and talented individuals, has been a source of immense support and joy throughout the years. Together, they've shared countless adventures, including a memorable trip to Montreal, where their bond was further strengthened by new experiences and shared laughter.

Kese and Britt met at Oxford College of Emory U in 2007. They share an unwavering will to be successful, with the common belief that you must work hard to play hard. As a fly on the wall, you'd tune into talks on subjects spanning from the latest music hits to world issues and unfeasible solutions. Together, they indulge in brunch, festivals, parties, and controversial discussions.

Ron and Darryl's friendship began in Pre-K, where they quickly became best friends and remained inseparable throughout their school years, eventually growing their circle into what is now affectionately known as 'The Family.' Their bond endured through young adulthood, and one of their most memorable adventures was a Pacific Coast Highway road trip in 2016. It was during this trip that Darryl offered invaluable advice that played a pivotal role in guiding the groom to this very day.
Dr. Darryl Powell passed away in 2017, leaving behind a legacy of friendship and wisdom. In honor of Darryl and the close friends who have been a significant part of the groom’s journey, Dr. Lisa Parladé will stand in the groom’s party, paying tribute to their enduring bond and the special place Darryl holds in all their hearts.
